DescriptionFrom an article/photograph in Tempe Daily News August 19, 1977:Greek Treat - Chef Nick Mathews (left) couldn't keep Golden Age restaurant co-owners Mike Manos (center) and Peter Reveliotis out of the kitchen while his Chicken Ala Plaka, chicken Athenian style, was broiling. The chicken dish is one of several new additions to the menu of authentic Greek foods at the restaurant, located on Rural north of Apache, which is making plans to host a "Greek Night" her sometime this fall. Chef Mathews has also added Lamb Skordato, Shish Kefte (broiled chopped baby liver), and a number of fish dishes to the Greek menu.
