DescriptionActually it was a tale about a "long, tall sausage" and it kept customers of Bill Grundstrom's Wisconsin Sausage and Cheese store, Baseline and Price, "in suspense" most of the summer! The suspense was over Saturday through, when (photo right), Mayor Bill LaPiano, with aid of shop employees Dee Lowney and Pat Baylon, drew more name from the crock to determine winner of that six-foot sausage. And getting to take it home were (photo left) Bob Chubbuck, who brought along children (Top to bottom) Heather and Robby Chubbuck and Denny Watters to help carry it home.The film negative of this photograph is housed in box 2G7-D.
