Derek Fiero chef at the new Old Mill restaurant in Tempe, turns out an exotic Old Heidelberg style baked German pancake for a customer at the newest of the city's dineries. But don't ask Fiero for the recipe. Specialties of the house, the German pancake and a baked apple pancake are created from special, secret recipes which were given Old Mill owner Ken Pruitt over 25 years ago.
