Residents of the Tempe area were given an opportunity to view the recreational facilities and 555-space trailer park area at the new Casa Fiesta travel trailer resort, 750 West Baseline Road, Saturday, when that first-of-its-kind facility for this area held grand opening activities, Saturday. Welcoming one of the tinier visitors, young Monica Medina who was there to join a dance group in entertaining visitors, were (l to r) Felix de Golian III, vice president of the travel trailer resort's owner Cousins Mortgage and Equity Investments, her from Atlanta, Georgia for the opening; Mary Lou Knoll, park's general manager; and Tempe Mayor Bill LoPiano. Travel trailer visitors to the Valley are already checking in at the park, which will cater to both short-term and long-term visitors and is expected to add $4.4 million to city's economy annually.
