DescriptionTaken from Tempe Daily News December 10, 1977:Workers at Tempe's Newman Center in Tempe, from left, John Reck, Anita Figuero, Bill Hughes and Art Kudray, work on a rag weaving decoration to be hung above the church's altar. The Christmas work, concieved by Mary Evans, was constructed by the entire Newman Center community. The Maddona and Child will be suspended in front of the woven wall hanging.
