DescriptionTempe Historical Museum's old-time Post Office is one place where the postmistress is always on duty - 24 hours day! And right now she's looking for new "customers." Peggy Burton, curator at the museum at Rural road and Southern avenue, said for a $10 donation to help with the museum's work, any Tempean may "purchase" one of the approximately 100 remaining general deliver slots at the territorial post Office and have their name - or someone else's name - permanently posted above the slot as a PO customer.The film negative of this photograph is housed in box 2G7-F.
