When Tempe Friendship Village officially opened its office at 600 East Baseline, Thursday, first in line to reserve an apartment in the future life-care retirement community on Southern avenue, adjacent to the Tempe Canal, were longtime Tempeans Mr. and Mrs. Faybert Martin (at right).
