DescriptionPaul Pitkins (left), of Pitkins Machine Shop in Tempe, and Ben Elkins (right), automotive teacher at Tempe High School, congratulate 1977 THS graduate William Vogelsang after he was named one of the Top 10 Automotive Technical Students from the 13 Western United States and Western Canada in the Pacific Automotive Show Achievement Awards program in December. Vogelsang and nine other 1976-77 high school students were chosen for the honor from among 470 eligible students.The film negative of this photograph is housed in box 2G7-F.
