DescriptionA longtime Mesa family is celebrating its 50th anniversary in the Valley business world by expanding -- with a new branch in Tempe. Strauch's Stationers, long a landmark business in Mesa, held grand opening of its Tempe store at 222 West Southern Avenue last week. On hand for the ribbon cutting: (l to r) Don Strauch, former vice mayor of Mesa, and his sister Joan Sorenson, part of the Strauch family owners of the business; Tempe Mayor William LoPiano; Pat Gilbert, manager of the new Tempe store; and Scott Jackson, Tempe businessman representing this city's Chamber of Commerce.
