DescriptionReturn to the Valley of John McGreevey (seated left), now one of national television's most widely produced writers, occasioned a reunion at Tempe's Monti's La Casa Vieja restaurant, Thursday night. McGreevey, here to address the Arizona State Library Associates tonight, is an "alumnus" of the Valley's KTAR radio station. And joining him for a KTAR alumni reunion, to reminisce over earlier days in Valley radio were (standing l to r) Paul Hughes of Phoenix; Jim Creasman of Tempe; Don Anderson, now with Jennings and Thompson; Howard Pyle of Tempe; (seated from right) Francis Connolly, Tempe Daily News publisher; and Duncan Jennings, founder of Jennings and Thompson agency -- all of whom were associated with KTAR in the '30s and '40s.See 2001.19.3054.
