DescriptionFrom a photo caption appearing in Tempe Daily News, June 20, 1978:Liberty Bell Rings Again - The floral version put together by members of Tempe Elks Lodge 2251 as part of its traditional Flag Day ceremonies here may have been silent, but the sound of the Liberty Bell was likely ringing loud and clear in the hearts of those attending the annual rites in the lodge hall Saturday afternoon. Elks Esteemed Loyal Knight Marshall Beaulieu adds flowers to the red, white, and blue display, which with a display of American flags down through the years formed a background for the ceremonies saluting the 201st birthday of the "Stars and Stripes." Guest speaker for this year's ceremony was Tempe Mayor-Elect Harry Mitchell.
