DescriptionTeens participating in the Tempe Youth Center program are not only digging in to plan for a new school year of activities, they're literally "digging in"--to prepare their TYC community garden for a third planting season... Contemplating the harvest to come are (from left) Tom Canasi, City of Tempe community youth assistant in charge of TYC; Laura Bubbico, a Mesa Community college freshman who is a teen assistant at the center; TYC treasurer Darrell James and secretary Heather Cook, both Tempe High sophomores; Larry Lynch, President Debbie Bubbico, also a THS sophomore; and Jon Harris.
