DescriptionNewly opened in the Lakes Country Village Center, 1000 East Baseline, Cochrane's Crafts II offers a broad selection of items for the "crafty" (and, incidentally, a lot of ideas for the people on your Christmas gift list who like to "do their own thing"). Owner Robert "Bear" Cochrane was out drumming up business for the new craft center when this photo was taken, but three of the Bear's crafty drum corps members were there to see that customers were royally welcomed--Joseph Valenti (left), Michael Kronenberg (right) and "little Bear" (center)!See the November 29, 1978 Tempe Daily News.
