DescriptionTaken from Tempe Daily News - October 24, 1978:When a vehicle knocked down the old street sign at the corner of Victory and Orange in east Tempe, the city installed a new one promptly enough -- but maybe a little too hastily? The sign at left is on the one corner of the intersection, the sign at right is the new one, on the northeast corner-- and both should read the same. Alerting TDN to the not-so-mery-mixup was Don Wilcox who walked out of his Sunrise Market to discover his address on the corner has suddenly become 2100, instead of 2200 Victory drive.
