DescriptionFrom a photo caption appearing in Tempe Daily News, June 6, 1985:Keeping up-to-date - Elsa White keeps up-to-date with what's going on in the library world by serving as a volunteer at Tempe Public Library. And she's also helping update the library. White is working on updating subject headings for the library's books and periodical collections for easier accessibility. Now retired, White worked as a teacher-librarian in the Phoenix area and in Casa Grande. Her husband Francis also is a library volunteer.
