DescriptionA black and white photo of a three-wagon freight outfit drawn by a combined team of six horses & mules. It sits stationary on MIll Avenue with trees and a brick building is visible in the backgrounds. The photo is mounted on cardboard. The freight driver sits astride the lead mule (rear-most animal on left side). The driver is identified as Jose Araiza (see description below).

The white horse at the front of the team (right side), is likely the "bell mare." The mules of the team follow this mare's lead. (The "bell mare" sometimes wore a bell - however, no bell is evident in this photo.)
