DescriptionThis picture was taken by El Tovar Studios, Grand Canyon. The group of 17 includes one man in a military-style Park Service uniform; five Native Americans in traditional clothing (three men, a seated young lady and a toddler - mother wrapped herself and her baby in an ornate blanket); five men in the back row wearing long coats; five women wearing coats seated on a long bench. Left at the rear is a stone building and on the right is a power pole.

The back of the picture reads: "Far right Horace Albright, Director of National Parks Service; Louis Crampton, Rep. from Michigan (chair); ?, Charles D. Carter, Oklahoma, ?, ?, and Carl Hayden."

One Native American wears a full chief's headdress and multiple strands of beads.
