DescriptionA Gamma Phi Beta sorority float in Arizona State University's 1958 homecoming parade. "ΓΦΒ" is displayed on the front of the float and the float itself is shaped like a boat with the sorority members sitting in side. The members are dressed in white and holding various signs one of which says "vote 200 yes" which is a reference to prop 200 which would make ASU a university. Other signs include"we invaded Yuma," "we invaded Gila Bend," "we invaded Avondale," and "solo buttons." The float is traveling down Mill avenue and Hayden Flour Mill can be seen in the background.
