DescriptionWorks Progress Administration (WPA) staff members pose for a photo in front of the B. B. Moeur Activity Building on the ASC campus, around 1938. None of the people in the photograph are identified (it is possbile that they are not WPA staff, but seems likely considering their posture in relation to the WPA sign and their location in front of the building).

Still under construction, the Moeur Building's adobe brick is still visible. The Moeur Activity Building is currently the only adobe building on campus.

ASC (Arizona State College) is now ASU (Arizona State University).

Note - the Works Progress Administration was renamed the Works Projects Administration by Congress in 1939.

Note on previous description, which read:

"Photo depicting B.B. Moeur and staff with WPA sign."

The bald man in this photo is not former governor/Dr. B. B. Moeur. Dr. Moeur died on March 16, 1937. This was prior to the project to construct the building which would be named in his honor. The identity of the bald man in this photo is unknown at this time.
