DescriptionBlack and white photograph of Barry Goldwater and Lyndon Johnson at the memorial service for Senator Carl Hayden. The service was held at Grady Gammage Memorial Auditorium, Arizona State University, on January 29, 1972. The two men are seated side-by-side and talking together. The photo was later entered into the 1973 Arizona State Fair, International Exhibition of Photography, with the title: "Political Enemies, Personal Friends". The photo is mounted on white board for the exhibition.Status
