DescriptionThe big, dark brown metal trunk has House of Representatives stenciled in black on one end. Hoops and lock are brass. Straps at either end are metal. All the edges have black metal with nails. The corner pieces and hinges are brass, and the same corner pieces help the lid come together. Used by Carl Hayden as a member of the House of RepresentativesStatus
