DescriptionThis is a colored photo of a Sanders Crop Dusting plane, owned by Tempe Councilman Rowd Sanders, in action in 1965, flying in the vicinity of Guadalupe Road between Rural & McClintock. The donor's family farm was in the area, around where Marcos De Niza High School is now. In the photograph, the plane is dropping defoliant, a herbicidal chemical, on a cotton field.Status
