DescriptionBlack and white photograph of 5 Trailer homes in Victory Village, with 7 men standing in front of the trailers. 6 of the men are tilling the dirt with yard tools, while another man is installing a long pipe. Victory Village was created after World War II in the area that later was next to Gammage Auditorium to provide homes for returning student veterans and their families. Small houses are visible in the distance. Written on the back in pencil: "Victory Village - located where Grady Gammage is now standing, Housing for students after WWII" and the word "Progress, 3 kols, 9 1/2" and the stamp "Bert M. Fireman Pictures".
