BiographyOriginally from Sikeston, Missouri, he came to Arizona in 1910 and lived on a farm in East Mesa. He was one of the original 25 members of the Arizona Highway Patrol. He was on the road block when they caught famed gangster Dillinger between Casa Grande and Coolidge. Owned or operated a bottling company, a machine shop, and the Tempe Saw Shop. Member of the National Guard for 17 years. He was an Arizona State Rifle Champion.BIO-Mitchell
