BiographyCame to Tempe in 1882.
Lived near what is now Mill Avenue and 6th Street.
He arrived in the Salt River Valley with four of his six wives in November 1882. He settled on an 80-acre tract in Tempe. He later divided his land proportionately among each wife's family, and sold land to Samuel Brown, who built a house at 604
Ash Avenue in 1883.
