BiographyFirst Principal and Professor at the Territorial Normal School, 1885-1888.When the railroad arrived in Tempe in 1887, he developed his 160 acres into one of the town's early subdivisions, known as the Farmers Addition.
He lived at 820 S. Farmer Avenue.
He opened his house as a women's boarding house for Normal School students. In Dec 1887, he sold a large agricultural lot at 802 S. Farmer Avenue to Edward A. Murphy. He left the Salt River Valley in 1890.
