Lived in California for 9 years, where he was a mechanical engineer for the National Supply Company, designing the brake system for the B-29 airplane.
He was a farmer in the Chandler area until his death.
Member of Tempe Masonic Lodge No. 15, Order of the Eastern Star No. 50, Tempe Kiwanis Club, Tempe Historical Society, Tempe Old Settlers Association,
and the Old Time Athletic Association.
