BiographyCame to Tempe c1912.A poor young man, he was among the first to leave Mexico when the Mexican Revolution began in 1910. About 1910, he kidnapped Marina Ceballos, the daughter of a wealthy Zacatecas family, for his wife. They arrived in the mining town of Metcalf,
Arizona, in late 1910. A few years later, they fled the union-controlled copper mines and went to Tempe.
