BiographyCame to Tempe c1912.
A poor young man, he was among the first to leave Mexico when the Mexican Revolution began in 1910. About 1910, he kidnapped Marina Ceballos, the daughter of a wealthy Zacatecas family, for his wife. They arrived in the mining town of Metcalf,
Arizona, in late 1910. A few years later, they fled the union-controlled copper mines and went to Tempe.
