BiographyCame to Tempe c1895.Came to Arizona with his parents in 1865, and helped his father build Winsor Castle, which is now known as Pipe Spring National Monument, in northern Arizona. After his wedding in Utah in 1877, he made the return trip with an ox team, crossing the Colorado River on ice. They moved to Taylor, Arizona, and came to the Salt River Valley in 1895.
Lived on a ranch northwest of Tempe.They moved into town in December of 1936.
Owned SW4 SE4 section 24 (39 acres), in 1924.
