Came to Tempe in 1905 from South Dakota.
Was a pharmacist for A. M. Harmer in 1911.
Worked as a water tender for the Salt River Project, 1919-1947. Also farmed near his home, at 1993 E. University Drive. Was a shareholder in the Tempe Irrigating Canal Co., in 1923. Owned 13 acres in section 24, in 1924. In 1921, '23 , -'26 lived at R 2.
Lived at the Olive House in 1911, and at 1993 E. 8th Street (now University Dr.), in 1915.
