DescriptionPunch needle for production of pile rugs. Wood handle is tapered, constricted knob with wide brass flange (c. 2 cm long) which attached working end of tool to handle. Main support of tool is flat steel rectangle 1.2 cm wide to which is attached hollow punch needle and thread guide.
