DescriptionThis tin of shoe polish came with a shoe-shine kit acquired by donor in 1950's. This 3 3/4 oz Esquire Saddle Soap tin is red and tan and includes, these words on lid of tin, "cleans and softens, for shoes and all smooth leather, press here, 59cents, also for use on corfam and other synthetics". The bottom has much small print directions and suggestions eg. "Not suitable for suede or fabric" "makes leather last longer" "Dupont's trade mark for its Poromeric Materials". Maker- Knomark. Origin- Jamaica, New York.
