LOOKING OVER ANTIQUES - on display for the Old Settler's picnic at the Knights of Pythias hall, Sunday, during pioneer and former citizens old-fashioned picnic held as part of Centennial Days activities for that day, are Mrs. John K. Moeur, member of a Tempe pioneer family, and Randy Munro, Tempe High School student and a collector and re-builder of old phonographs, including the ones shown here. Mrs. Joy Geranen furnished many of the antiques, among them the high-buttoned shoes, which decorated tables for the event, attended by 100 old-timers and visitors.
