DescriptionFrom an article/photograph published by Tempe Daily News, May 16, 1977:

She's The Greatest! -

Broadmor Elementary School Student Council members pulled off a big surprise for school secretary Edith Krueger on Friday morning. They made it "Edith Krueger Day" on their campus, and presented the surprised but delighted secretary with a big show of love and appreciation for her many years of service to the school and its students. Edith, who will be retiring at the end of the school year, came to Broadmor School as secretary with the closing of ASU's Payne Training School, where she had previously served. Above sixth grader Stephen Christiansen pins a corsage on his favorite secretary while Jonathan Akins (left), fifth grader, and Gail Ward 9right), sixth grader wait to present her with letters of thanks and other mementoes from students.
