DescriptionFrom an article/photograph published by Tempe Daily News, June 16, 1977:Signs Of Summer - Skipping merrily across what looks like an old-fashioned "village green" in summertime are young Tempeans (from left) Nicole Thomas, Tim Dangler and Dawn Marie Clapper. The village actually is one - if only temporarily - set up as a re-creation of a Bible times village at Holy Spirit Catholic Church. The village is focal point for the church's Vacation Bible School program, one of many held summertime annually for youngsters throughout the city by various churches.
