DescriptionOld Petersen house at Priest and Southern was once the home of Denmark immigrant Niels Petersen, one of Hayden Ferry’s more prominent citizens in the late 1800's and his family. Long a favorite place for artists and photographers, it's now a fun place for children in southwestern Tempe too - who come to enjoy playground equipment and serene surroundings and a little of the historic "mystique” of the site.Petersen House is located at 1414 W. Southern Ave. in Tempe.
