DescriptionTempe Parks and Recreation instuctor Gerry Young checks out progress of his students in a self defense class for retirees as they practice learning how to fall. The class, whose enrollees are all women, is in session once a week for eight weeks at Tempe Community Center. And after the first class session, senior women enrolled thought the class was so worthwhile, they brought their friends along next time.The film negative of this photograph is housed in box 2G7-E.
