Tempe Lions club was kept in suspense as a name was being drawn for the winner of the Grandfather lock that Samuel Burkhard made and donated for the fund-raising event. The event was during the Christamas party at the Holiday Inn, where the sixth grade choir from Fuller Elementary School sang under the direction of Mrs. Nadeau. Mrs. Lynn Fox was the lucky winner of the Grandfather clock.
