DescriptionPassing motorists no longer have to wonder what "all those builds are' off of Dobson and Southern, Mesa. Mesa Community College's Night People (Evening Student Board) spearheaded a drive which ended with formal dedication Saturday of a brand new "Thunderbird" marker at the southeast corner of Dobson and Southern - to make everyone aware that "this is where Mesa Community College is." Joining in dedication ceremonies: (l to r) MCC Dean of Instruction Ross Owens, of Scottsdale; Day Student Government President Peggy Gilby, Mesa; Night Student Government President David Paolini, Chandler; Sharon Self, Mesa; who designed the marker; MCC Dean of Students Jinette Kirk, Tempe; and Joy Murray, Chandler, Night Student Government vice president.
