Answer Is 'Blowing In The Wind' - Dr. Harry R. Lundgren (seated), member of the Arizona State University civil engineering faculty, explains engineering research being done with help of boundary layer wind tunnel in low-speed laboratory on campus. Wind tunnels are used in many ways to examine the effects of wing. ASU study, state national Engineers Week coordinator Wise was told, in particularly interested in effects of damaging winds upon low-rise structures, especially residences 0 important because there is average of about $500 million wind induced damage in country annually - 20 times damage done by earthquakes. Engineers, says Wise, are constantly seeking new and better ways to improve living for Americans.
