DescriptionTaken from Tempe Daily News - February 17, 1978:Tempe Knights of Pythias Lodge members (from left) Burl Danner and Robert Shaw appear to have lost a pancake - and just in case they lose many more, Mel Schackner is instructing Art Moore, Len Dickinson and Roy White to hasten to the market and bring back plenty of eggs so nobody who turns out for that lodge's open-to-the-public breakfast, Sunday, will go hungry (KPs will be celebrating their order's 114th birthday with the public breakfast, to be served from 7 am to 11 am Sunday at Castle Hall, Seventh street and Ash avenue. (And there will be plenty of pancakes, assure Danner and Shaw.) Donations of $1.50 for Adults, 75 cents for children, for the breakfast will help the lodge with its philanthropic projects.
