DescriptionFrom an article/photograph caption appearing in Tempe Daily News, March 9, 1978:

New Kid In Town - Friday, March 10 is "Children's Day in Arizona" and all kids should be remembered. Jae Kyun Sin, Thew first grader, is a new Tempe resident, from Korea but he too will be remembered and honored on the special day set aside for children. The proclamation was signed into effect back in 1974, by then governor Jack Williams. Local resident, Marian Lancaster was responsible for bring the Children's Day about with her four years of soliciting state officials. She'll certainly remember Children's Day tomorrow...will you?
