DescriptionTempe Police Captain Terry Stewart (seated) explains his duties -- and the qualifications and training necessary for his job to a quartet of Gililland Junior High School students participating in a Career Awareness project Tuesday morning. Filming the session for documentation for Tempe Elementary School District 3 is Larry Mishler, audio-visual coordinator for the school district. Maria Wilcox (back from left), Chris Clark and Victor Gonzales were among over 60 Gililland students who spent an hour with employers and employees in various Tempe businesses and agencies on Tuesday, learning about careers. Arrangements for the project were made by the Tempe Optimist Club.
