DescriptionReligious leaders prepare for the first services that combine Catholic and Protestant religions. Two Valley religious leaders have reunited the body of Christ that was previously split into Catholicism and Protestantism. Members of both religions recently congregated for ordination services; (from left) Paul Alexander Diekelman of Tempe who was ordained; Pastor Don Berger, Protestant minister who made the theological discovery; Bishop John Dunnigan, who worked with Berger on the theological breakthrough and ordained the two Protestants; and Bill Longhi of Tempe who was ordained.

Note: Bishop Dunnigan was a member of Eastern Orthodox Catholicism.
