DescriptionThey don't have much time to play bridge at Tempe's Salvation Army Center, but its commanding officer Lt. Margaret Marler (center) is happy that others found time to play that game in annual American Contract Bridge League Charity Games this year. As a result, the Tempe Salvation Army received a check for $100 from the ACBL Charity Foundation Corporation, representing portional funds raised in chairty games staged by Mesa Duplicate League 351. Presenting check were two Tempe members of that bridge group -- Lula Mae Hudson (left) and Jean LoPiano, wife of Tempe Mayor Bill LoPiano.The film negative of this photograph is housed in box 2G8-B.
