DescriptionFrom TDN caption:Victory Acres, on Tempe's east side, isn't in the country -- but its unpaved streets have resembled country roads since the development was started many years ago. Those "country roads" will be getting a city slicker look now, though, under the city's redevelopment project in that area. The federally-funded Victory Acres project will include paved streets, and storm drains. Work has started on area above at MacArthur and George drives. Half of the paving work, to cover five streets, has already been completed.
