DescriptionFrom a photo caption in Tempe Daily News June 22, 1978:Changing Of The Guard - Affectionately known to most of Tempe's Boy Scout families as "Mr. Scouting" in Tempe, Theo LeBaron (right) is "hanging up his uniform" and retiring as chairman of the Tempe District, Boy Scouts of America, after having served in that post for over 20 years. He has been succeeded by newly-elected chairman Jim Sullins (left). While Theo has retired from the district chairmanship, he won't be giving up his long support and association with scouting. You can't, it's been said, "keep a good man down!"
