Victor Corbell and his wife, Anna grew up with Tempe. They're both natives of the area - Vic born on his pioneer parents' far on Guadalupe road, Anna "out in the country" on McClintock, the daughter of pioneers too. Vic was associated with Salt River Project for 36 years, the last 16 as its president. Anna is well known here for her art work; the landscape oil painting in the background above is a sample.
