DescriptionFrom a photo caption on the front page of Tempe Daily News, Tuesday, August 15, 1978:It's The Biggest - Wally Pratt (left), branch manager of new Ryder Truck Rental facility at 2122 West Fourth Street, University Industrial Park, and Bob Sorcinelli, rental representative, both of Tempe, take a final look at the new facility before its grand opening, set for 4 p.m. Wednesday. Ryder is the nation's largest full-service truck rental, leasing and related services company. Officials from its headquarters in Miami, Florida, Ryder VIPs from other states will join Tempe city leaders at the grand opening festivities, to include the official ribbon-cutting, a catered buffet, mariachi band music and other festivities.
