DescriptionFrom a photo caption August 10, 1978 appearing in Tempe Daily News:

Project Concern - Members of the Tempe Walk for Mankind Youth Activities Committee are showing their concern for "Project Concern" this summer by making bracelets, each with the name of a Project Concern clinic patient, to be worn by those who take part in this fall's second annual Walk for Mankind here. Working on bracelets at group's second meeting of summer this week are (from left) Lisa Shane, Diana Johnson, visiting District Director of Walk for Mankind Marlene Ward of San Diego, another visitor Nogales High School sophomore Lucy Ruiz, ASU Circle K member Mary Romer who will be advisor to Walk youth this year; Tressa Coffee, Walk co-director Barbara French, Little Kerry French, 2, (front) wasn't sure what all the fuss was about; she was much more interested in her ice cream bar.
